KnitKnack Afghan Time!

Stumpy the Monkey is done and now it's time to work, work, work on our Art Auction Afghan! Everyone in knitting club can contribute to the afghan! Here are some suggestions...

* For our knitting members and friends, refer back to our post about Knit Knacks Service Projects. There, you will find instructions for many pattern squares for both knitting and crocheting.

* For our spool & can knitters, we can use spool knit cords of any length or squares knitted on the can knitters. To knit a square on a can knitter, knit back and forth on the pegs rather than around and around. On the end pegs, you'll need to knit twice before switching directions.

* For our Pom Pommers, we can use some pom-poms for the afghan.

Since we are still trying to finish up our Monkey Work in Club, please try to work on the afghan pieces outside of club as much as possible and get them to Mrs. Binnig by the end of MARCH.

Knit Knacks Club will end for the year at the end of April. If you have any suggestions for a way to celebrate the last day of club, let me know!
