Knit Knack Monkeys

Thanks go out to the Johnston Family for donating Monkey Socks to the Knit Knacks Club! We started working on the monkeys this week and will continue with them at upcoming club meetings. For this project, club members are asked to bring a yarn needle. These are big sewing needles which can be used with yarn. They are available in plastic or metal. All club member should also have a pair of sewing scissors. We never seem to have enough scissors to go around.

The only other supply we need is some fiberfill to stuff our monkeys.

Yarn Needle
Scissors
Fiberfill Stuffing

Finally, many of the kids still do not have their own knitting needles and crochet hooks. We have some of these supplies available through the club, but it helps if the kids have their own to work with since projects can usually not be completed in one day.
