Knit Knack My Heart

For February, the kids will have the opportunity to make Knit Knack Hearts.

Supplies:
Small Spool Knitter (like the one the kids made at our first meeting)
Yarn
Yarn Needle

To make this project go a little faster, the kids should do some prep work at home before coming to our club meeting. We can then complete and assemble the heart during our meeting.

Homework:
Knit 2 cords on the spool knitter that are 21 inches long.
Knit 2 cords that are 17 inches long
Knit 2 cords that are 7 inches long.

Leave a 5 inch tail on the cords.

We'll do the rest of the work at our club meeting.

And for those kids who will be making sock monkeys, please read the Jan. 28th Blog Entry and bring the necessary supplies to the meeting.
